Why are the holes on the feet of the Marvel Legends figures gone? They are helpful in using stands and in some cases, the holes look to have been intentionally filled in? Why was this done and will holes make a comeback?

dear hasbro, could you make any coment, deliver any info on the possibility of a 3 3/4' (or 4') inches MARVEL lines ??? its going to be? its on the way? when? anything?

I just think useles, one of the things that I hate the most about star wars is how they have a "legends" line that is just re-release of figures that came out a ear or so ago that nobody wanted to begin with, yeah theres some cool re-rleases and stuff, but I think it just idk "waters down" the original release of the figure. Thats why I think that having a gigure like lets say the extreme rouge, re-released but in a diff color would be awsome. I like how they re-released the silver surfer only cuz they took the blue highlights off and he was all silver.

Plus if they started to re-release figures, im sure some would stop buying figs with urgancy cuz they would just assume they would be re-released later. also all the re-release would be warming the pegs eventually and take away from the new figs.

One of the figures taht I thought Toybiz was stupid for not releasing was the repaint of the juggs, cases like that are the only way that I think re-releases would be a good idea.

no rereleases please, variations is fine but not straight rereleases.

What is wrong with re-releases? A lot of your posts are against re-releases.

It's obvious that Hasbro has access to Toy Biz's molds (Cannonball/Ghost Rider body).

Will we see some of the late released Toy Biz figures that didn't make it to all retail outlets?

Especially Avalanche, Xtreme Rogue, Bobby Drake, Kang, Dragon Man, and Face-Off figures like Jigsaw and Mandarin.

I have a new question (though I assume it maybe a little too late):

Does Hasbro have any interest in finishing now-unpopular teams? an example would be the Movie X-men. there are only about 2 more Xmen (Angel and Kitty) and only about 2 more Brotherhood members (Pyro, Multiple man) and then only 2 other important movie-based characters (Lady Deathstrike, Callisto). Just sayin....

another good group to consider is the Young Avengers. Collectors got a big boost with Toy Biz's Box set, but we are still behind with 4 main members (Hawkeye 2, Stature, kid Vision, and Speed).

I think Hasbro is the perfect company to take on the task of team completion! how bout it, Hasbro, won't you complete these (and other!) teams???

Why in the world would you want Hasbro to waste plastic on more X-movie figures!

Even worse, on YA characters?

So many great classic Marvel characters that have yet to recieve the ML treatment & you want those made? @pow@

Um, they wouldn't waste the plastic on it if I was buying it, would they?

I want movie Xmen made so I can take Walmart Shadowcat out of that team and put in the right figure for her. same goes for Angel. I am not neccicarily asking to include these figures in Marvel Legends, or, at least, in a BAF wave, just include them somehow....

Even worse, the Young Avengers?!? Seriously?

the reason I want the Young avengers made is so I can COMPLETE the Young Avengers! Its one of my favorite books and one of my favorite teams!

Look, I LOVE the classic stuff, but I also really enjoy new things, too. I loved the first ever Avengers book, its still one of my favorites. the uniting of all these heroes to stop another and then figure out what was really going on was great! the Young Avengers somehow take me back to that, I guess. Also, I really like the Ultimates.

The YA is just a good read. the art is nice, too. and its a lot less confusing then a lot of other books out there right now.

I want to get classic characters AND finish my incomplete teams, dude. when I typed out that question, I looked at my collection and those were the 3 teams (movie Xmen and Brotherhood and YA) and saw BIG holes in them. they are so close to being complete.

I understand that many classic characters need to be made, but how many of those characters are in teams? teams that have teammates already made? isn't it like.... Darkhawk in the Defenders and thats it?

jeez.

Is it possible for Hasbro to do the BAF as a mail order figure using the old proof of purchase concept? If so, would this enable them to offer larger BAF characters? Hasbro would still sell as many figures with the proof of purchase system as they would doing the parts as a pack in. However, it would free collectors from having to buy figures they dont really want in the line. Sometimes I and other collectors buy 2 of a figure, or buy figures from other lines (FF & Spiderman Move, HML, HML FF) and would like to use these purchases to gain BAF parts. If you have say 1 point per purchase with a total of 6 points from any Hasbro Marvel figure purchase towards getting the BAF, it should work. Hasbro already has the mail order system in place to accomodate this method. Would this be something they may consider?
