That is the nicest female face I have seen from Hasbro, after the atrocities which were Emma Frost, X3 Jean & MJ Watson. Maybe Hasbro are actually learning how to make female figures look good!

Great set.

WOW!! Ok....I LOVE the FACE on Sheena. I REALLY wish Hasbro would Keep the Doubble hingged

knees & elbows. They work better in the Posability for the figures (look @ the Electra they just did).

That is my only complaint. OH!...also Why did they use the GI Joe Tiger for ZABU?!?!??

im sorry pysmount. i still don't see what the big deal is. now i don't know anything bout Shanna. i only recently learned she a red head. but when i think of Shanna i think of frank cho's version and i have been reading comic for ten year and i have only seen her once in a non talking cameo. i mean she's not that important and she doesn't have a diffinative look like Ka'Zar, so i don't see why we shouldn't get a version that for alot of people is Shanna. and if thing go the way they are that might be the Mainstreams version as well.

not saying that you don't have a point. Artist version of characters aren't something major for me. i only get different costumes so it really bugs me when they bring out a artist version and not a new costume. for example, FO Daredevil (great as it was) could have been an Armoured or FA version but instead they make it a Frank Millar version. that why i'm hopping that it the King Hulk we get in the Hulk Legends and not the McGuinness version.

I'm not calling you a 'Hasbro hater' at all. I'm not even saying that your opinion is unfounded. You are making a good point rather than just blindly condemning as some do, and I completely respect that... I just don't agree with it. I think we both understand each other, we're just on different sides about it. No harm, no foul. :)

Works for me. My main issue with artist specific figures is once a company realizes they can show a higher profit margin by doing them. They end up releasing figures of the same half dozen charecters over and over in different artistic styles. Charecter diversity goes out the window and you're lucky to get any new ones at all. IMO Hasbro needs to stick with generic versions of established charecters in costumes from different eras and let Marvel Select do the artist specific figures.

and as someone who has been reading comics for quite sometime - i have to say i never knew that Shanna mini-series wasn't in the 616 universe. I never read that series. But i feel like Shanna in a bikini is Shanna in a bikini. Like, her and Kazar are characters that don't have like, specific costumes...so i don't really care what they're wearing, i only care that the figures look good.

And i think they look amazing. Zabu does look a bit cartoony, but i honestly don't care too much about him. Shanna an Kazar look great. I'm going to SDCC this year for the first time ever, and i'm going to have so much stuff to buy - it's gonna be nuts.

Wow another one?.. Thats like what 3 now from here?.. tarrot you and me @loll@

Yup, because it's easier to ignore someone than respond to blatent snarkiness. @smilepunch@ The bottom line is that YES my issue is that they chose to go with the Frank Cho artist specific version because anyone who's read comics for any real length of time. Knows that artists tend to come and go, while it's the charecters that endure from decade to decade. One of the things that has made the M.L. line so popular is that you can build a coherant display of charecters and teams that aren't crippled by being artist specific the way the majority of figures by a company like D.C. Direct are. Charecters that are lucky to get 1 chance at having a figure done should never be artist specific for that reason. It wouldn't matter to me IF these where ones like Spider Man, Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk or Wolverine who have had and will have figures done in several different styles, but these are more than likely the only versions we'll ever see. You can rationalize them being "good enough" however you want. Even try to turn it into and dismiss my issue by claiming I'm a "Hasbro hater". It's still not going to change my opinion or make these figures any less of a disapointment for me.
