New 6" Iron Man Figures

by Jay Cochran
May 13, 2008
Here is a look at a new batch of Iron Man 6" figures slated to be released in September 2008 with a ARP of $9.99 each. Shown are the following:

- Captain America Armor Iron Man
- Satellite Armor Iron Man
- Stealth Armor Iron Man

As you can probably tell this batch of figures are based on armors from the comics and not the movie. For those not familiar with the Captain America Armor, it appeared on the cover of What If? Civil War.

Bring on the Iron Men woo! Although, these are some strange (but cool) chooses.

I want a Hulkbuster Iron Man, Crimson Dynamo, and how the hell could they leave out Stilt man?! Blasphemy!!

Does anyone else think it's funny that all the "Stealth" Armour toys have huge guns attached? Even in the comics (Armour Wars) his stealth armour has a huge rocket pack that is about four times bigger than him! I know it was only temporary but still.. Not very stealthy :P

I think it's been said before, but I believe the term "Stealth" is referring to the fact that it's invisible to radar. Wasn't that what the suit was all about in the books??

GEEK

How could anyone like those figures?! My god Satellite Iron Man!!!! Is hot dog vender IM next. Whomever made the comment about remember Spider-man is dead on. How many friggin just to make something figs do they want to waste the super expensive oil on just to have them sit on shelves. There are more than enough figures they could make that have a purpose. Make some real armors out of the numerous ones comic wise.

Stop wasting our time with these stupid figs.

Go Knighty!!!!! You are so right! I couldn't have said it better myself. Ya know, corperate may like to use oil prices as the reasoning behind price increases and so forth but think about how much plastic is wasted on dime store plastic bats, dump trucks, cheap girlie dolls (like family dollar Barbies), noname knockoff gi joes, those cheap robot toys at roses, and etc. That noone wants or buys. They could melt all that crap down and make us some beautiful Marvel Legends or DC universe figures. New characters, no repeats. LoL! Just some food for thought and to make ya say hmmmm...... :D And we would buy them all up faster than you could say, Excelsior!

well i was just reading my new iron manual book i got on saturday and was looking at the near 40 different armors he had and the satellilte one isnt that bad. and like i said before i think the arrays on his back are more for power then anything. hasbro didnt plan the aim troops toybiz did. be cool dude i am sure they will be out in the two packs. and i dont think these figs will be binned cause i dont see any at anystore i go to i feel lucky i got my mark 3 the other day.and really does any figure have a purpose

Temper Temper!

Seriously it drives me insane when they cancel beautiful figs like the AIM troops and other figures they had "planned" due to the high cost of oil but they come up with these figures that don't seem to have any thought behind. I'm sure if a poll would go up asking what would you prefer to have satellite would not be the top on the list. I'm not sure about other parts of the US but I know I'm tired of seeing pegs and bins filled with castoff figs that no one is touching for months on end eventually ending up in KB bins for 4 for $10.

Love them all. Will get them all. I would buy hotdog vendor IM in the blink of an eye. I hope they roll out the rest of the armors and toss in the armored villains too.

I hope they make Super Expensive Oil IM and Purpose Filled IM as well. Bring them on.

No waste of time here. Glad there's one less person out there looking for them.

GEEK.

Well I have a pretty good armory now with most of the toybiz figures except the Series one variants and Modern armor. I won't mind adding these to the display in the fall.
