TR101AL over on the website
Joecustoms.com has stated he found the new 3.75" Marvel Universe Iron Patriot variant figure at retail. TR101AL doesn't mention which store he found it at, but it looks like it was in the Florida state area.
This version of the figure features the head of Norman Osborn without his Iron Patriot Helmet.
When it comes to this variant and all the Marvel Universe variants, it should be noted that according to Hasbro these things are periodically added into assortments of Marvel Universe figures. Because people don't find them initially when the regular versions are released, doesn't necessarily mean the variant is going to be rare once they start shipping in whatever cases Hasbro decides to stick them in. Unfortunately since Hasbro doesn't reveal how many of these variants they produce, we have no real way of knowing just how rare, or not rare they are until enough time has passed and we start hearing your reports of finding them or seeing how many show up on the secondary market.
Any takers? Anyone have an extra unmasked IP to trade or sell?
I'm still looking for an unmasked one. Anyone wanna trade? I have the SDCC exclusive Thor, Cap, & Spidey for trade. I also have a Phoenix/Cyclops 2-pack to trade. I can also get the TRU exclusive 3-pack Spiderman & friends. Let me know.

Saw two today at Target in MD
There are masked IP's out the wazoo here, but none of the maskless Norman versions.
If anybody wants to trade an unmasked IP for a masked one, pm me--only if the paint apps are good though. I traded a death mask archangel for one that has crap paint apps, and I'm a bit bitter about it still.
Yeah, at Target I have ONLY seen the unmasked patriot and have never seen the classic havok or Death Archangel at retail.
I've also never seen the classic Ms Marvel at retail....
Its odd that I found the unmasked patriot before the regular one.
ive been looking for one of these and i cant find one. If anyone has one for trade all i have is a black widow and spider man rhino or i could pay for your troubles.
I've never seen an unmasked Iron Patriot. I've seen dozens of masked Patriots however. I'm glad my man Brymstone is sending me one because I'd have to ebay that sucker.
I haven't seen Archangel period. Variant or otherwise. And I've seen an equal amount of masked vs. unmasked un my area. Still looking to unload my extra unmasked if someone needs it.
I'm thinking regional thing too. Never saw the variant Havok or Archangel and still haven't seen the Norman head on any of the dozens of Iron Patriots I've seen now.
i agree, here in san diego i havent seen one unmasked version.
