2010 NYCC Day 2: Hasbro News & Notes

Our roving reporter on the floor of NYCC James reports in with some news from the folks at Hasbro.

I asked if there was going to be any new Legends shown at Toy Fair in February, and they said probably not until next years San Diego Comic Con. Hasbro will also likely have a panel at NYCC next year. The Hasbro folks tell me that the Marvel Universe stuff is selling really well. Older "collector" figures are going to be peppered into upcoming shipments, including variants like phasing Vision and Thunderbird/Warbird classic colors. The Sentinel will be out next Fall. The upcoming Legends will have a mix of new characters as well as re-do's. He phrased it that they would be stupid not to do it that way, rather than just say they're going to do it that way. Thor toys coming March, Cap in May. The Marvel Universe X-Men Boxset is slated to come out in April. As to which retailer will carry it has not yet been announced.
