Deadline is reporting that Fox was looking at a Fall 2011 start production date but that start may have been pushed back to Spring 2012.

"Wolverine 2" starring Hugh Jackman, mostly takes place in Japan but finding locations is hard because of weather-related conditions. Filming might take place either in Canada or combination of both countries. 20th Century Fox want to do this film and want to do it as soon as possible but they may have to wait until after Jackman finishes making "Les Miserables."

"Wolverine 2" is being directed by James Mangold and written by Christopher McQuarrie.
