Hasbro's Plans For NYCC 2012

We went to the folks at Hasbro and asked them what their plans would be for this year's New York Comic Con (10/11-10/14). Last year Hasbro went all out with exclusives and a full booth set up as well as multiple panels, but this year it would seem they are significantly pulling back their presence.

Hasbro will be holding a Transformers and My Little Pony panel on Thursday 10/11. They will have NO booth presence this year and will not be showcasing any product in their partner's booths such as Marvel's, like in years past. They will have no exclusives on hand this year other than the Marvel Universe Old Man Logan figure which will be offered at the Marvel booth for those who sign up for Marvel's Digital Comic Book subscription service.

Hasbro is holding a press event the evening before the convention begins on 10/10. It will be off-site, and they tell us they will be showing off reveals of some yet-to-be-seen 2013 items from their Transformers, G.I. Joe, Kre-O, Marvel and Star Wars brands. We will be bringing you coverage of this event here on the ENI Network that evening.
