2014 SDCC Exclusive 3.75" Marvel Infinite Series Figures Revealed?

Jay Cochran - May 06, 2014
It's not uncommon this time of year for Hasbro SDCC exclusives to start popping up on auction sites well before they are officially announced by the company so when unknown figures start appearing our first instinct is to assume they are for Comic Con. That may or may not be the case with these latest figures to appear on taobao.com. Up for auction are what appear to be new 3.75" Marvel Universe/Infinite Series figures of Nebula and Starfox as they appear in the comics. Both characters have cosmic backgrounds and connections with Thanos so this could be part of some kind of boxset tie-in to coincide with the release of Marvel's upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie. It's also possible they have nothing to do with Comic Con and could either be fakes or upcoming single carded release figures. If this is a preview of what Hasbro has in store for SDCC then expect to start seeing other figures for the set popping up soon or we may even see an official announcement from Hasbro about these soon. Stay-tuned for more details on these as they become available.
