One:12 Collective Iron Man: Armor Model 42 Edition Mezco Exclusive - Here Today, Gone In Minutes

Jay Cochran - October 17, 2018
Mezco today announced a new online exclusive for their One:12 Collective Marvel figures. This one is a repaint of their Iron Man figure in black and gold colors. The figure is being called the 42 Edition. It should be noted that the figure which was put up for pre-order on the Mezco website has already sold out, though you can still be placed on a wait list. Powered by numerous Repulsor Tech cores, the Armor Model 42 was developed by Tony Stark initially for testing new technological developments but was later upgraded for battle. Featuring modular abilities and new A.I., the Armor Model 42 adds to Stark’s impressive armory of Iron Man suits.

Yeah. I am also very excited for a good comic version Iron Man. All the ones I have are movie versions. That color scheme is nice, however doesn't quite resemble to Marvel Now look. So I will stick to the classic version. I really hope that I can get him.

I have the Mark3 from Figurats black and gold and it's awesome. But SHFs are quite small.

Yeah thats the only reason I refrained from figuarts. But yeah I ordered the classic Mezco Iron Man. Thanks now I I dont feel so bad missing that exclusive lol. The classic is a better call

Dude all that talk about too many iron man figures and I went ahead and pre-ordered the regular Mezco one. Lol. What can I say the reviews sold me. And I really really want a decent comic version quality 6 iron man . Im reallyhoping he fits in with my marvel legends cause of not Im afraid I might resell him. Well see at the end of this month I guess. But I really wish I wouldve had time to scoop up this exclusive when he went up. Hes far too expensive now to buy after market. Damn it. I really love the black and gold 42.

Again, it's an exclusive, limited edition. If you don''t like it, you don't have to buy it. It's for the Iron Man fan. It's not like they didn't release a figure and instead put that one like some companies do.

For some figures it works very well. I have Batfleck, Deapool and Flash. Unfortunately didn't get the Punisher, which is one o the best looking ones.

For Woalverine, to me the thing that they got msot wrong was the height. He should be a lot shorter than he is. I know which head youa re talking about, but you can always go after some good custom.

Yeah those Punisher ones reeeeaaally tempted me. They look great! And the accessories are awesome. Yeah the Wolverine definitely is too tall. Thats one thing Legends finally got right when the brown costumed one came out. There are some great custom head makers out there.

Oh my bad sorry I should have realized you were talking Mezco. I gotta say Im just not into the look of the Mezco Wolverines. This soft cloth outfits just make him look to baggy or bulky or something. And I havent seen one unmasked headsculpt Im crazy about. But that just my particular taste. Im partial to Legends. I cant get into the cloth

I already have the vintage wave. Thank you. I am eager for the Tigerstripe because it is my favorite. The cartoons and the comics from the 90's had a huge impact on the way I see super heroes until this day. This is Hasbro

Now to Mezco, yeah since I can have only one I will give the brown costume a chance although I didn't like the shorts they gave him even with the changes they have made.

If I had to recommend one man I would highly recommend getting the retro Wolverine or the juggernaut series one which is the darker brown. But I think the retro is more true to the comic look.

All the figures with light up features will have an increase in price. I don't like to pay more for figures as much as the next guy, but it is an additional feature and if it works well enough it's worth way more than 10 bucks. Plus he has diecast parts and the magnetic faceplate. Cyclops and Cable are 100 bucks now because of the same features. So 90 is quite fair.

I also would like very much to have the regular version. It is the most classic looking figure in this scale with this quality and amount of accessorieswe have ever seen.

I am right down with you man. I will be forever bummed down about that Tigerstripe. Still figuring out if the regular brown costume is worth picking up. I would love to have that Logan too. But budget is waaay too limited.

Im still waiting for the classic version of this to come out! Im interested in it, dont know about the $90 price mark though.

But it does look good this armor is like the perfect resemblance to the Avengers EMHs Iron Man.

No I hear you. It is an exclusive, I know. Its just a tad bit annoying when theres so many different characters youd like to see. Im sure I would feel differently if Iron man was in my top three. For example, I never get sick of seeing different Wolverines.
