Marvel Legends 6" Spider-Man: Far From Home Entire Wave Revealed

by Jay Cochran
April 22, 2019
April 22 is the official embargo date for Spider-Man: Far From Home products to be released and with that we have a look at the entire wave for Hasbro's next Spider-Man themed 6" Marvel Legends which includes several figures based on the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home Movie. We had seen previously all the comic book based figures which includes Hydro Man, Scorpion, Classic Julia Carpenter Spider-Woman and Doppelganger Spider-Man as well as two of the Far From Home figures with the Regular Suit Spider-Man and Stealth Suit Spider-Man.

Now we have a look at the remaining regular figure as well as the Build-A-Figure for the wave, both of which are based on Far From Home. Rounding out the wave will be Mysterio and the Build-A-Figure will be Molten Man. Here is how the wave breaks down with accessories.

Hydro Man - comes with Molten Man Head. Unfortunately it does not look like he comes with alternate regular arms, just the water ones which is a bit disappointing and it is unclear whether the water effects on the feet are removable.

Scorpion - comes with a leg for Molten Man. The tail should have bendy wire in it.

Spider-Woman - comes with the torso section for Molten Man and a webbing effect piece.

Doppelganger Spider-Man - Comes with a arm for Molten Man.

Far From Home Spider-Man - comes with an alternate set of hands and no BAF piece.

Far From Home Stealth Suit Spider-Man - comes with an arm and what I believe is a molten steal beam piece for Molten Man as well as an alternate un-goggled face piece and alternate hands for the figure itself.

Mysterio - Comes with a leg for Molten Man and alternate closed fists for itself.

While the official on-shelf date for Spider-Man: Far From Home product is April 22, it is unclear if any physical stores will have these Marvel Legends out on shelves right away. The main reason why we think these might not be out today is we have yet to see any stores put these out early, which is odd. Usually when these things are in store stockrooms, they somehow leak out early in some number. As of this post we have seen no sign of that. This wave however will be up for pre-order at places like BigBadToyStore.com and should be shipping by June.

Wondering if anyone will try painting the face of the Scorpion a skin color for the open cowl look. If anyone tries it, let me know. Would like to see how it looks.

I think the only figures in the wave I'll pass on are the Doppelganger and the Upgraded suit Spider-Man. I'd rather getthe SHFone cuz this ML looks like #$##. The bright and shiny redmakes the figurelook like a very childish McDonald's toy. And I know you can barely see the web lines on the suit in the movie which is probably why they didn't paint them black butI've seen people paint it in and it looks so much better. This figure has a very lazy paint job and I think the SHF is far more superior.

I wonder if you can pop out that Mysterio head and pop in a normal head. Wish there was ajake gyllenhaal head with it.

Can't wait to see what marvel has done with Mysterio!

I stopped by GameStop to pick up Rescue and unexpectedly found Scorpion. I havent opened him yet to put on my shelf yet, but he looks awesome. I picked up the Spidey spy suit figure on eBay and now I just need Mysterio for the ones I want in this wave.

This is an end cap at a Target store in southern Minneapolis for Spiderman far from home. We have a lot of Targets here. I check regularly about 10 of them. There is not one marvel legends from the movie at any of them. They just put old spidey figs on the pegs. Target here did the exact same thing with the end game figures. Not one end game figure ever showed up but they put a bunch of infinity war figures instead.Sorry about the long rant. The distribution of marvel legends just erks me to no end. I like supporting the brick and morter but am seriously considering buying all on line.

Lol, that's pretty much it in a nutshell. You can'texpect every Spidey wave to be all comic figs. And cut ole Molten Man some slack. We all know the real turd of this wave is that half-ass attempt at a Doppleganger figure.

I like the Doppelganger figure.

Anyone hoping a Jake Gyllenhaal is under that Mysterio fishbowl?

I'd like that, but I'm not holding my breath after they didn't do an unmasked head for Vulture.

Shocking: Company puts movie figure in wave released to capitalize on movie. Footage at 11.
