Marvel Legends 6" Retro Deadpool And Grey Hulk Coming In October???

Jay Cochran - August 30, 2019
While still NOT official confirmed by Hasbro which means this news should be treated as RUMOR at this time, we have gotten word from a source that has proven to be reliable in the past that lets us know the recently revealed Marvel Legends 6" First Appearance Grey Hulk figure should be released on October 1st as a Fan Channel Exclusive. Looks like the figure will cost around $35. It's unclear if the figure will be put up for pre-order sooner than that or if it will be one of those that is available as soon as it's listed. We know Amazon Mexico had a small handful already in stock since the few people who were able to purchase one when it appeared on that site briefly last week have already received them.

Also we are told a second never-before-seen figure described as being a "Retro Deadpool" figure will be released simultaneously as the Grey Hulk on October 1. We have know specific details about this one, so all we can do is speculate that it might be a repainted Deadpool figure to look like the costume he wore when he first appeared in New Mutants #98.

We will be sure to update this story once more details become available.

I wouldn't be surpried if they do a X-Force Retro line in near future

Will 'Retro Deadpool' have feet?

Mocking, sneering laughter here....

That Grey Hulk looks pretty cool. But it's not $30-$35 worth of cool. Not when you can grab a Marvel Select Juggernaut (bigger figure, better sculpt, better paint, and built like a tank) for less money. Hasbro be trippin'!

Reissue/repaint fatigue is setting in. Most likely a pass for me.

Poor. Hard pass here - thankfully: my wallet really can't take another store exclusive (though like everyone else here, I'd probably find a way if there was something worthwhile or Stepford Cuckoos'ey).

Hasbro have really worked the Legends schedule awesomely well, or awfully exploitatively in 2019, depending on your perspective, and there are no 'rest' months anymore or a period where new product isn't shown, revealed or imminent.

So, the 'big' waves come out at fairly reliable points (new Spider-Man wave around December/January, Avengers related early spring, X-Men & related late Spring/Summer) and to tide us over, autumn/Fall gets a whole bunch of exclusives (this year: Cowboy Logan, Moonstar, Big Time Spider-Man, Stealth Iron Man, Agent Anti-Venom, Variant Punisher, Alpha Flight, Hulk(s)). Oh, did I forget multiple 80th Anniversary, MCU, Retro and Riders sets? Sure did. Oh, and XM Love Triangle, X-Factor 2-pack....you get the point.

The constant churn is great, sure, but I'm spending money I haven't got on these. But what else can you do?

I think they've actually debunked this rumor. I thinksomewhere in this very site. Maybe someone like @tarothas a bit more information on that.

It was mentioned Monday it will start as a European Exclusive before going international:
