Hasbro Marvel Legends Live-Stream Video Announced For Tomorrow (7/21)

Jay Cochran - July 20, 2020
UPDATE: Dan Yun from Hasbro just dropped this image (see below) which likely is teasing the rumored Hellfire Club based SDCC exclusive. With that its very much a safe bet to assume Hasbro will be announcing their Comic-Con Marvel based exclusives during tomorrow's live stream.

Hasbro has announced another one of their live-stream events with the Hasbro brand team for tomorrow (7/21) at 12pm ET with Ryan, Dan & Dwight. We know the Deadpool movie Marvel Legends figures first shown at Toy Fair which includes the 2-pack with Deadpool and Negasonic Teenage Warhead as well as Domino are slated to go up for pre-order tomorrow. We assume those will be featured but hopefully if nothing else they will also show us this years San Diego Comic Con exclusives that Hasbro has been teasing for the last several weeks. Hasbro has already officially revealed exclusives for G.I. Joe, Star Wars and Transformers. We should note all those exclusives have Sepetember release dates, so we are expecting the same for the Marvel ones as well.

While the official San Diego Comic Con At home virtual event kicks off later this week, Hasbro has shown no indication of having a presence for that or doing anything big on their own this week. While we can't say for sure, its looking more and more like Hasbro may just continue to show new reveals on a weekly basis with their weekly live streams for each brand. This would be instead of showing everything off in the course of a few days. It's possible Hasbro could still announce something last minute for this week beyond tomorrow's video and MAYBE another Fan First Friday event for one of their brands, but we will just have to wait and see.

The 1st Guardsman armor was created by Stark for Kevin O'Brien & was actually less powerful than the MK IV armor Tony was wearing at the time. The ones that Stark created for SHIELD to guard the Vault were sleeker & a bit more powerful. I'd much prefer an Army builder set of the "Vault" Guardsmen.

Yeah, I didnt mean to imply it was better than Stark. It was more powerful than the avg guard IIRC.

There was another group of armored goons back then. Mauler and the similar Raiders.

Lol yes, Falcon and ironfist with his oversized collars Lol

And multiple MA hands from Shang Chi & alternate yelling head sculpt. With that classic all white Moonknight buck, Hasbro has zero excuse not to make classic Hector Ayala White Tiger in a Spiderman retro wave.

With that kind of branding, this does appear to be more than just a Shaw figure.

It really was, the sculpt and paint were both on point.

Please read, i said CLASSIC versions in which case we got none of them cause they were all modern versions and the last Luke Cage we got was in a boxset. My opinions, my wantshave little to do with anyone who doesn't like them.

Way out in Left field i'd like to see a classic Luke Cage, Hercules, Beta Ray Bill, Thanos and a comic version of Korg just for fun.

"...Simply put I want more diversity in the body types of the Female Legends. Not all of them need to be " thick" but some should be. SHIKLAH looks like a skinny stork. I've seen her drawn very curvy in the past so she's a miss to me....I don't think wanting female characters to have some diversity is objectifying...the men get different bucks based on their body types but it seems the women don't get the same treatment..."

This is what I've been saying. Its real simple: Hasbro has the means to use more diverse body molds, but they have a double standard for female figs vs. male figs. I wouldn'texpect the Sub-Mariner to have the same proportions as Spider-Man 2099, and they don't. So why would the Black Widow be on the same mold as Dagger?? I wanted to get that Shiklah figure, but I just couldn't put down more money for something that's so unnecessarily disappointing.

I look at it like this: when action figures of Wolverine first came out, he was as tall as any other character in the same line. Fans spoke out, and eventually companies corrected him. You can definitely see they show love to him (although some of the head sculps are yikes). All we want for the female figures is that they get their due. Correct body types, double jointed elbows, etc. We know they can do it; we've got Rogue, Angela, Jessica Jones, She-Hulk, Rescue, 90s white (or black) suit Storm, for example, to prove it. So lets do better.

Can I trade in that Korg for a classic Nova? Otherwise, I'm in total agreement. And of course, if you have classic Power Man, you HAVE to have classic Iron Fist.
