More Marvel Legends Wave Listing RUMORS Hit The Net

November 6, 2020
rektangular has put out a video with new Marvel Legends wave listing rumors. He says the info comes from someone who sent it to him in Mexico from retail listings. I can add that I have heard about similar listings back when we reported on a rumor for the Marvel Legends House Of X/Power Of X Wave. In fact I have seen a ton of listings for Marvel Legends stuff rumored to be coming in 2021 that if turns out to be true, will blow your minds and your wallets. This includes a couple long time MCU fan demanded favorites.

Obviously the listings I am about to share here with you are by no means confirmed, so they should be treated as RUMOR for now. In fact one of the reasons I haven't posted any further info on stuff I have seen since we posted the X-Men wave rumor, is because we had gotten indications from official sources that perhaps we should keep guessing on that one. So if that one is in some way wrong, perhaps all of it is. Still we now have two more rumored wave listings coming from multiple places, which is why I am going to share this latest rumor with you.

So first up rektangular gives details about the next "Avengers" themed wave, which my initial Intel had labeled as a Disney+ wave. It is more speculation than anything that these figures will be based on the MCU Disney+ shows, so some of them could possibly be comic book based.

The listing rektangular gives is as follows:

- USAgent
- Loki
- Baron Zemo
- Scarlet Witch
- Vision
- Winter Soldier
- Captain America

Captain America is likely going to be Falcon, though we should note that we've seen with the Marvel Minimates for Falcon and the Winter Soldier, USAgent was actually referred to as Captain America. Being there is an actual USAgent in the wave listed, that would either suggest we would get both a comic and Disney+ version of USAgent, which I would love to see, or more likely Captain America here is referring to Falcon, who is not listed by name in the listings.

Next up rektangular lists the figures for the Shang-Chi wave as follows:

-Shang-Chi
-Civil Warrior
-Death Dealer
-Iron Man
-Leiku Wu
-Mei Ling

Shang-Chi, Leiku Wu and Mei Ling are all speculated to be movie based while the rest will likely be comic based. I should note the initial info I had seen only listed Mei Ling as TBD, so rektangular's info is the first I am seeing an actual name for that one.

So that is it for now. Again this should be treated as RUMOR until we get some kind of official confirmation from Hasbro. I do expect some official Marvel Legends reveals to come next Friday on the 13th, so perhaps we will learn more then.

You can check out Rektangular's latest video here.

The movie wave figures generally seem to have more detailed sculpting and coloring. They're promoting the TV shows like they are basically the equivalent of a movie. I would think therefore the TV wave will have the same level of manufacturing as the movie waves. I'm looking forward to seeing these figures, probably at whatever ToyFair is going to be this year.

there is no Toyfair this year. most likely we will see them during a livestream

Falcon at the very least would need a new sculpt, as the costume is completely different than the one he had in Civil War and Infinity War.

Pretty excited to see what this wave has to offer, hopefully new bucks for Falcon, winter solider and vision and not some reuse.

I may be wrong, watanabefan, and if I am, I apologise in advance, but:

(1). Is this Rektangular bashing/correcting really necessary? He's been doing this forever, he's more right than he is wrong, and he has no sponsorship or platform to 'guide' his content. If he's made a howling mistake, why don't you just politely message him on the clip/content you know is wrong?

(2). As with the Eternals wave, I'm thinking the only two people in the world excited about this wave are in this forum. The last MCU Mandarin was...what it was, and this is going to be A. N. Other variation on same. If it even is the Mandarin.

As I said, apologies if you weren't just trying to knock ol' Rektangular with excessive pedantry and/or I've misunderstood you.

I didn't bash and wasn't being pedantic.I made a probable correction about a source of potential misinformation because I'd seen a number of people asking why was there no Mandarin figure if he's the main villain of the film. He's a big boy, I'm sure he's not gonna be on the floor crying because someone on a message board said one of his points of info might be incorrect.

I think Rektangular said the D+ wave would be out in April. That would coincide with the end of TFATWS. Regardless Im excited for these. Cant wait to see what Wanda,Vision and Loki look like.

General point: has there even been a teaser trailer for Shang-Chi or the Eternals movies? I can't have missed both.

I think Hasbro should seriously reign in details of (and pictures, even more) any waves based on forthcoming movies likely to be delayed, because we're judging these waves in a vacuum. Think about the Black Widow movie & wave. Figures have been out over a year, movie pending.

Despite my huge initial reservations, it's a GOOD line, with a nice MCU/Comic split. The MCU figures are excellent (except Red Guardian) and the comic figures even better. But looking at the retail situation now, they can't give the damn figures away cheap enough, whilst the comic guys are still hot (yeah, sorry, not Spymaster, but wtf?!?!).

And Black Widow is a known quantity. So, at the risk of being the 'Voice of Doom'. This movie, and wave, seem risky. And I know next to nothing about both.

I didn't read that as bashing. He was dispassionately citing asource of possible confusion.

Rektangular assumed the character Wen Wu was Leiko Wu, but the Disney investor day press event revealed that's the name of Tony Leung's character. Given Leung was previously confirmed as the Mandarin, we can infer the Wen Wu figure in the leak is really a Mandarin figure.
