First Hasbro's
Dan Yun posted this new image showing the upcoming
Marvel Legends Retro Cardback Lizard and
Rhino figures.
The
Rhino figure is already available for pre-order at places like our sponsor
Entertainment Earth.
The
Lizard figure we know will be a
Walmart exclusive but Hasbro has not yet said when it will be available for pre-order or purchase.
My feeling is that the figure will be put up on the
Walmart website during the next
Walmart Collector-Con event which Walamrt's PR people told me will be sometime in July around SDCC time. There will also be on in the Fall around NYCC time.
Yesterday
Hasbro sent out a
press release for a new
Walmart exclusive Transformers x Top Gun Mash-Up Maverick Robot Reissue figure which they say will be available for pre-order on
July 21.
The press release doesn't specifically indicate that the
July 21 date is the date for the next
Walmart Collector-Con event, but that makes the most sense to me.
So while admittedly there is a fair amount of speculation and assumptions being made here, the
July 21 date seems like a logical one for when we will see the
Marvel Legends Lizard figure go up on the
Walmart website. Obviously that's not confirmed, but
July 21 is a date I would keep an eye on. When official details become available for when
Lizard will go up, we will be sure to update you here.

Not into Spinneret but it looks like a good figure, reasonably sculpted, and in scale with Spider-Man. I can give credit where its due and they did a good job here.
I hope Hasbro releases this retro Spidey again without the cell shading. My first thought on seeing this figure is that it may be the perfect buck for a new Daredevil.

it's the new buck they will be using for the Amazing Fantasy / First Appearance. Depending on which comes first, this may be the first to use it.
I like the size of that Retro Spidey. Oh this is fantastic. He'll look beautiful on the wall next to Venom and Hobgoblin, I haven't felt the need to unbox my 90's animated figures, but I kinda want to get an extra Spidey to mess around with and see if he's better than the retro and RYV versions.
Animated Spidey, okay, easy easy pass, I almost forgot about it while I looked at it, I can't actually wait for this anniversary of spidey to be over so we can not see a spidey for a bit, Japan Spider-Man, Tobey, Andrew, Animated Spider-Man, 1st Apperance Spider-Man, Iron Spider, Noir Spider, Stealth Spider, Peter Parker, another Spider, wooo getting spider-man fatigue.
happy for those who are cool with another spider-man.
This is probably going to be a Spider-Man I don't need. Not into the animated look. Might just get Renew Your Vows to have a classic pinless look.
So it's passed off the 1st Appearance body, I wonder if they have improved the diaphragm joint

Its using the new first appearance sculpt so that maybe why it is shorter.
