I'm looking hard.........looking as hard as my little beady peepers can peep.......but I'm just not seeing a reason to upgrade from my Toybiz Vision.
Still just like the Retro/Vintage one better, just the metallic paint really is sweet, sure a bunch of inaccurate things going on between the two that I don't need to get into, but I just don't care about this one here, it's good, but I'm growing fatigued on characters I already have, more new please, but I know a ton of people are still looking for a Vision in their collection so happy they are getting a chance with this one, but I'm only buying this for a BAF piece. Also on another note, my goodness how bad that Hulk Buster wave Vision is, that's poopy, I never liked it, but seeing it again after so long, it just looks terrible, I can't even think of why they did that outfit for him *sigh*
I find it a little chintzy that they went and made a brand new Vision sculpt not long after giving us the white version, but alas, there it is.The figure does look really good though. Perfect head sculpt with ear cups, and the right cape. I was going to pass on this since I really love the metallic painted retro version still, but, I suppose I could swap parts and repaint the head on this version. AndyL - 2024-01-02 @ 4:25 pm
Perfect final form of the classic Vision great deco. Great body model. This is the Vision we wanted before they went and put it on that gawdawful Sunfire body. This is one figure they can say they have perfectly pulled off. Now there are so many characters that need this treatment.
Still happy with my Retro Vision, so I'll probably be looking for the VOid piece seperately
I was very excited when this was delivered the other day. Just opened it and was extremely pissed that there are scuff marks across his right chest. Guess I'll have to get a replacement
At times it seems like Hasbro has tried extremely hard NOT to give us a classic, definitive, version of this all-time, classic Avenger. Poor, undersized buck choices; missed details and costume elements that make our synthezoid unique; and bizarre, short lived costume versions that often seemed like change just for change sake. All of these have preceded the one coming to us here in 2024, but none come close to capturing his essence in plastic. Sitting here, looking at my Vision that arrived last week, I can honestly say this is THE Vision. Finally Hasbro, thank you!
