Got my Superior Spider-man en route! I wasn't that excited when this one was first announced. Don't get me wrong, I love me a Spider-man figure regardless... But the more I saw of it, the more I'm excited to get it in hand. I'm hoping they may even use some parts to give us an updated Iron Spider at some point.

Man, I kinda miss variant figures...
Speaking of this Wolverine, that original sculpt was great and actually more muscular than the end figure, although its still shocking how did they end with idea of cutting his belt in half and saying this was okay, it's gotta one of the dumbest design decision in Marvel legends history if not action figure history.
Toybiz always had amazing prototypes but their end products even if good could never match the original proto, it was almost on the verge of false advertising like loose collector figs are today, in this regard Hasbro is doing better because their figs mostly match the advertising.

Both are amazing figures. I prefer Superior Spider-Man because he has many accessories and can stand.

Because Hasbro and the retailers know that key exclusives are collecting choke-points. The whole goal is for retailers to get customers in their stores and for Hasbro to get orders from those retailers. If the retailer thinks they can sell the toy, they place the threshold order ( or better) with Hasbro--and the key is that character. We are a proven captive audiences and suckers for this kind of thing. It will not change anytime soon. But here's the thing.......make enough noise about this, and Hasbro will make the figure again---probably with small changes, maybe a different portrait. Because, again, they KNOW they have a captive buying audience.

Yeah, I'm definitely seeing that here.

I guess I've gotten lucky cause I've seen at least 2 full cases of her sitting on shelves in the past few weeks. I grabbed one for custom fodder, I didn't know she was so hard to find.
