Maximum Magneto would be sweet, since Hasbro never got Magneto right, there was always something missing, either it was body, helmet shape or something else like 97 one being weirdly short. It will be even more awesome if they get into wired capes.

Back in February we first told you how the third Marvel Legends Maximum figure was slated to be Deadpool. This past weekend Hasbro at SDCC teased a new Marvel Legends Doop figure as their Sunday teaser which to us seemed pretty clear is something that will be included with the "rumored" Maximum Deadpool. But was was that the only Maximum figure they teased at SDCC? If you check out the new interview MCUCollector did Hasbro's Dwight Stall and Dan Yun, it sounds like perhaps their was another teaser in the booth.

Could we see a Maximum Magneto figure with a Build-A-Force Field? Dwight made sure to clarify in the interview he wasn't confirming anything, but both he and Dan seemed to strongly suggest their was something in cabinets that was a teaser for something besides Doop. I have no information about a fourth Maximum figure but Hasbro does say in the interview they have a couple more Maximum figures already in the works. So could Magneto be #4? I guess time will tell but check out MCU's interview and let us know what you think.

Just pulled the trigger on Mephisto, I felt like I must, since I've wanted a Mephisto for gosh knows how long, and I'm thankful we got a chance, but after I did so, I thought about it all, is this really worth the price, I know age old talking point, but the actual figure is so not MTO worthy, not like Dragon Man, sure sure there is a very detailed throne involved, which likely raised the cost as absolute unique tooling, but I feel kinda a bit like...hmmm, did it have to go this way with this, and then I remember the way the Hasbro team kind of got a bit mean when asked by a few people about these tier characters for the Robbie HasLab, and I kind of felt a way, like a bit jabbed, You didn't back this, we told you, you wouldn't get these characters if not, you won't see them, then yet here Mephisto is...and an MTO, and this price...fine...anyways I want and love it so I'm going to shush...buttt

Completely agree, Mephisto is not worth the cost. If people actually look at it without the excitement of a long awaited character, it's essentially a deluxe figure, or even a Maximum figure since accessories seem to be what give it that designation.

Throne? Cool, but will likely never display it. Cloth cape? IMO, trash like all soft goods. That leaves a sword and an extra set of hands and a extra head..

Yeah, I know, that would never give us a devil figure in stores or at this price.... seems kinda appropriate does t it? Lol...

Dragonman felt like a deal and worth the MTO format. This just feels.. greedy... and coming from the failed Haslab that originally bore this figure, the high cost=value also feels appropriate, just in all the wrong ways

As for parts sharing I can't think of anything for a body mold. The only thing I can think of is that flight stand for the Hawkeye Sky Cycle. Wasn't it used first in a Star Wars line?

That flight stand was indeed used for the Star Wars Black Series Speeder Bikes. A rare example of crossover-use between two licensed brands.

When Classified first started we were told they couldn't use the molds for Legends or vice versa. No parts sharing. It's curious people think that Gambit is stolen from their sports figures. That would be a change.

Yep, I remember that. However, looking at some of those SLU figures, minus their jerseys, they're dead ringers for that new Gambit figure, they even have the basketball holding hand. Quite a coincidence if that's not the exact same mold minus the head and jersey of course.

Am I the only one that doesn't really like the proportions of some of the characters in Rivals? Hulk kind of looks silly with a tiny head.

The reason may be because they had tons of left over from the failed line and didn't want them to go to waste.

All I want to know after seeing that SLU body for "basketball" Gambit, is this, does that mean that molds from other lines are available for the ML team to use? Sure seems like that's the case with what we're seeing. Granted, nothing specific comes to mind, but all those nice pre-tooled Classified figures with better articulation than most Legends, some of those have got to be able to be used for something in ML.
