Deadline is reporting that Disney has officially set the date on the release of Captain America 3 for May 6th, 2016. This date sounds familiar doesn't it because it's the same date that Warner Bros. staked out for their Superman-Batman release that stars Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck. Lot can happen between now and than but it appears that Marvel isn't backing off when it goes up against its DC Comics rival as the studios jostle for positioning for their superhero franchises.
