'X-Men: Days Of Future Past' Extended Cut Coming In 2015

Fox's EVP of Marketing Communications, James Finn, confirmed via Twitter that an extended edition of Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future would be released but not until 2015. Fox is planning on releasing a new edition of the movie next year, in an extended cut that will restore some of the scenes and the excised subplot centering around Anna Paquin’s character Rogue that Singer had teased might appear on the home release.

Finn also confirmed on Twitter that the version of the movie contained in the upcoming Digital HD/Blu-ray release would instead be the theatrical cut. When asked for more details about the extended cut, he simply teased "Soon." The movie will be released in Digital HD September 23, and on Blu-ray October 14.
