If you have been wondering what Marvel has planned for Hawkeye, played by actor Jeremy Renner after the events of Avengers: Age Of Ultron, it looks like he will be appearing in the third Captain America movie titled Civil War.
According to
THR he will begin shooting his scenes for the next Cap movie this Spring. Robert Downey Jr. who plays Iron Man and Marvel newcomer Chadwick Boseman who will play Black Panther are also expected to appear in this movie along with Sebastian Stan (The Winter Soldier), Anthony Mackie (The Falcon), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) and Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow). In the comics the Civil War storyline pitted hero against hero as Cap and Iron Man fought over whether the US Government should implement a Super Hero Registration Act, causing heroes such as Spider-Man to reveal their secret identities to the world. It is still unclear if this movie will see the debut of Sony's Spider-Man character into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, or if that will be reserved for a later movie.
Captain America: Civil War is slated to open in theaters on May 6, 2016 and will be directed by Joe and Anthony Russo. Avengers: Age of Ultron opens in theaters on May 1, 2015.
