What Role Will Kurt Russell Play In Guardians Of The Galaxy 2?!?

Yesterday the official casting announcement for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 was made confirming the actor Kurt Russell would be joining the cast. According to Variety, Russell will be playing the role of Star-Lord's (Chris Pratt) father.

It's been hinted by Director James Gunn in the past that Star-Lord's father will not be the same person as portrayed in the comics. The mystery of the father was first hinted to at the beginning of the first Guardians movie.

“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” is slated to hit U.S. theaters on May 5, 2017.
