THR reports that Carnage will be appearing in Sony's upcoming Venom movie which will star Tom Hardy. Venom is slated to open in theaters on October 5, 2018. It is still not confirmed if Spider-Man (Tom Holland) will actually appear in the movie as well, but according to the article Sony does intend to bring him into the spin-off movies.

Other Spider-Man spin-off movie Sony wants to make happen is one featuring Silver Sable and Black Cat. The movie doesn't have a release date, but Sony is aiming for a fall shoot. The movie being titled Silver & Black will also feature Kraven The Hunter and Mysterio.

The THR article also indicate that Spider-Man 2 will be allowed to feature another "to-be-determined" Marvel Cinematic Universe character, similar to what we see in Homecoming with Iron Man.
