Samuel L. Jackson Returning As Nick Fury In 'Captain Marvel'

Deadline has confirmed that Samuel L. Jackson is reprising his role as Avengers architect and recruiter Nick Fury in Disney/Marvel’s Captain Marvel.

No additional information was provided about the type of role Nick Fury will have in the Captain Marvel movie.

The Captain Marvel movie was announced with Brie Larson to star as Air Force Pilot Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel at last year’s Comic-Con. The project is being directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck and is scheduled for release on March 8th, 2019.
