It's Good To Be King - Black Panther Becomes All Time Top-Grossing Superhero Movie In The US

The top-grossing superhero movie in the United States is now Marvel's Black Panther which was directed by Ryan Coogler. The movie passed the previous record holder which was the first Avengers movie earlier today. Avengers grossed $623.4 million back in 2012. Black Panther which opened in theaters back on February 16 has brought in around 1.2 billion globally and is expected to surpass Iron Man 3 ($1.214 billion) later this weekend to become the third largest grossing comic based movie of all time. Avengers: Age Of Ultron ($1.4 billion) and Avengers ($1.5 billion) currently hold the number 2 and 1 spots.
