Andy Serkis To Helm 'Venom 2'; Set For October 2020 Release

Peaks my interest. But I cant see where this universe is building up to if there is no Spidey involved

I think this Venom 2 movie will be sooooo much better than the first one last year. Just like the Dark Knight trilogy.

I haven't even seen the first one, I hear it is pretty good all things considered it's just me personally I don't find Eddie Brock all that interesting without the Spider-Man connection. I'm curious to see what Andy Serkins can bring to the movie. As for Cletus Kassidy would have preferred Cameron Monaghan in the role but I'm sure Woody Harrelson will do well.

I know he is skilled but as a full-on director he has only three movies under his belt. I really hope he can do well, it will bea visual feast alright but graphics aren't everything

Well at least now we know that visuals will be good, but I hope they will come up with better and more exciting story than the first.

Woody is great in anything, they couldn't have got a better Cletus IMO

I'm hoping this will be less focused on Eddie Brock, and more on Cletus Kasady!

I liked the movie, wasn't too impressed with the fight at the end but it was fun enough. I think its just to weird for me to see a venom movie where it doesn't have at least a cameo of spidey

Andy Serkis has worked on plenty projects as secondary unit director, including (to my knowledge) The Hobbit,that's why Jackson said he was an extension of himself.On the Venom movie... I'm glad some people enjoyed it, but it just didn't do it for me... at all. So I'm not terribly excited about this, regardless who is involved in making it.
