According to
THR, Megan McDonnell who has been working on the upcoming Disney+ WandaVision series will also be taking on head writing duties for the second Captain Marvel movie which will star Bri Larson. According to the report McFonnell has entered the final negotiating stage to seal the deal with Marvel Studios.
Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck who worked on the first film are said to not be returning for the sequel but are looking to work on a future Disney+ Marvel series.
Captain Marvel 2 is likely to open sometime in 2022.
Once the MCU goes all in on wokeness with Capt Marvel's bitter Brie, it will be over. This is a potential disaster in the making...I'll have the popcorn popping in time for the Sprong 2022 release!

1. What has Megan McDonnell written before an episode or two of a show still in production?2. The MCU's Captain Marvel is still pretty undefined, so it might be a smarter idea to have picked a single writer/director, somebody who can steer the vision of the film completely, not that I have anyone in mind.
It seems like a good decision, I really didnt like first Captain Marvel on creative level, hopefully they can make far more interesting story, but it still going to be as difficult as making good Superman movie, super powerful characters are far harder to write.
