Marvel Studios has the next few years set for Phases 5, 6, and beyond and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has informed
Entertainment Weekly that a new Spider-Man story is in the works and it's being developed for Tom Holland's Spider-Man. The last time we saw Holland's Spider-Man was in 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home.
"All I will say is that we have the story," Feige commented. "We have big ideas for that, and our writers are just putting pen to paper now."
No word if the next Spider-Man appearance will be a solo movie or a role in the Avengers movie, but both Sony and Disney's Marvel Studios are interested as Spider-Man: No Way Home was huge at the box office and took in more than $1.9 billion worldwide. It also marked the return of former Spider-Men Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.

I forgot that DP3 will be rated R, so Punisher may have a chance...

I hope they don't backtrack, it really could be a great new beginning with a new supporting cast, new direction...
I surely hope they keep that as it is for the sequel, it could be a new beginning for spiderman bringing us closer to the the one we know and love and still haven't really seen in the MCU.

For sure. Have the movie start with Spidey foiling one of Kingpin's plans, so he hires Scorpion to take him out. It would be interesting if they had the prison Mac Gargan was in in Homecoming be the same one Kingpin went to at the end of Daredevil, so he knows of Scorpion's beef with Spidey. A very grounded and possibly dark story but with a lot of superhero action, it would also give him and Daredevil another opportunity to meet.
