I liked the first Thor movie, and him in the Avengers and Age of Ultron. After that, I think they did a disservice to the character by making him comedic. I mean, I get it.......so much of Thor and Asgard is so outlandish, as to be absurd, but making a joke out of the character did kind of diminished him.

Yeah sorta agree here, no Thor 5 really needed at this point, it's run it's course, But if we have to get a Thor 5, honestly best move is no Taika this go round, Thor doesn't need to feel like a sitcom, Dark World was looking pretty good after L&T, Thor never really was a real jokester in the books, Serious tones is something we need to revisit.

Ragnorok had just the right amount and still make things progress properly. Time to try something different again. Maybe we'll get a God war with the Olympians.
Yeah love Taika but I don't think he was the person for Thor, sure he struck gold with Ragnarok, but that seemed like it was almost fluke it worked so well, he's not really built for writing Superhero movies, some people arn't like...really you wanna go see a Wes Anderson Marvel movie?
but all this being said, I almost would like them to give one more Thor movie, just too wash the taste out with the last one, would kinda be a shame if the last Thor movie we ever saw was so horrible, and that caps his run.
I'd actually be stoked if Marvel Studios just announced tomorrow that L&T is being retconned from Canon, and it was just like a alt universe one off.
