Honestly they did the whole Blood Hunt storyline and haven't really done much with the aftermath of that. If this is just a whole separate universe like Marvel Zombies or Ultimate, then it's an easy skip for me.

I was going to point out that Jonathan Hickman's quote had "conceit" instead of "concept," but checking the same story on other sites showed the same error. I guess it was an error in Marvel's part.

Which is odd, because I see that error a LOT on another site in particular, but maybe it has to do with their source material, and not the site itself...

Anyway, this seems...interesting I guess. The creative teams are enticing, but the concepts don't exactly scream "new" to me.

Mutant X had Storm as a vampire, X-Men by Gischler had a whole vampire storyline...I worry that this is just a vampire story where the vamps have been replaced by, you'll pardon the term, muties.
