TVLine reports that Netflix is very close to moving forward with a Punisher Spin-off series starting Jon Bernthal who will debut in the role starting with the second season of Daredevil which airs March 25, 2016. While a Punisher series would seem to be a no-brainier and a perfect fit for the Netflix Marvel line of shows, it should be noted this report from TVLine is unconfirmed by any kind of official source.
