It's all in the genes... Check out the Comic-Con Trailer for Marvel and FOX's new mutant series "The Gifted," which finally reveals just which favorite comic-book mutant characters are set to appear on the show.

Created by "X-Men" director Bryan Singer and "Burn Notice" creator Matt Nix, the story is set in an alternate world where normal people are once again afraid of beings gifted with an X-Gene that gives it possessors superhuman abilities. These gifted individuals are being hunted down by an anti-mutant government agency called the Sentinel Services. But when one of the leading members of the agency finds out that his own children are carriers of the mutant gene, he will risk everything to keep them from harm.

Stephen Moyer, of "True Blood" fame, plays the father of the two mutant teens (newcomers Natalie Alyn Lind and Percy Hynes White) who takes his family on the run along with his wife (Person of Interest's Amy Acker). The family is forced to ask the aide of some of the known outlaw mutants, including Thunderbird (Blair Redford), Polaris (Emma Dumont), Blink (Jamie Chung), and Eclipse (Sean Teale).

Action-adventure family drama THE GIFTED, from Marvel, tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.

The Gifted stars Stephen Moyer, Amy Acker, Natalie Alyn Lind, Percy Hynes White, Sean Teale, Jamie Chung, Coby Bell, Emma Dumont, Blair Redford
