April 18, 2019
FOX has decided not to renew its sophomore drama series The Gifted for a third season. The family adventure series, set in Marvel’s X-Men universe, comes from 20th Century Fox TV, which now is part of Disney.

Disney can possibly find a new home for the series within the Disney network. The show is produced by Marvel Television, which currently has series on Disney-owned Freeform and Disney-controlled Hulu.

I'm shocked that show lasted 1 season, let alone 2. "The gifted", really? Now saying "mutants' offends people? PC is killing us!

Good, now they can start making real sense of the mutants, and get rid of the InHumans...

This was a good and family friendly show, it would be an excellent fit for Disney+.
