Just figured it was an MCU thread, and might pique some interest, hahaha! Wouldn't be the most offtrack we've gotten!

It looks like they're doing that with characters that they didn't have before. Or at least they're trying. I noticed the same thing with Wolverine in Dp3, as he fought in a different way than he did in the Fox movies. A bit more animalistic at times.

Looks to be a decent continuation but the action and the fights seem to be more comic inspired. Like he gets to use his billy clubs in more creative ways and gets to use his grappling hooks to swing across the rooftops. I appreciate the grittiness and realism of the original but was really longing for a classic comic style butt kicking DD instead of watching him be beat darn near to death in every other episode. Please Disney do right by old Hornhead.
So good to hear that Deborah Ann Woll is coming back!
Looks like a pretty solid continuation. I'm hyped.
Oh exciting, this looked like a very intriguing trailer, I' enjoyed what I saw here, very happy to see that they kept it gritty and bloody, all of the actors reprising their roles even surprised by Bullseye being back, and fun to see some new characters like Muse and White Tiger. also glad they are still keeping the Netflix show Canon. Also loving that new quite accurate (looking from trailer) all red suit.
This was a good trailer,
I'm pretty excited about this, honestly so far 2025's MCU line up has me very hopeful.

Daredevil is one of my all time faves. I liked the Netflix show. It was the all time best portrayal of the balance between Matt and DD but I seriously got tired of seeing him get the dog poop beat out of him on a regular basis. I wish they would just do him like he was during the time of Frank Miller, Denny O'Neil and Ann Nocenti. Back then he was always better than his enemies. Supremely confident and always superior skilled. A prime example of that was when he caught the sai from Bullseye with two fingers flung it back at him and hit him and effortlessly eliminated him. We've not seen a DD like that in many years. Though his confidence is still pretty much in tact he takes massively many more beat downs than he used to. So much that it's more or less formulaic. Meets and enemy. Super confident against them. Takes an L. Often times more than once. Heals. Takes a huge dose of self reflection and inner monologue. Figures out how to beat them and ultimately uses some gimmick to overcome. Nothing original about it anymore. And I do think that honestly is a result of the show. As the substance of any movie or show always begins to seep into the comics. This show does look like it's going to be a little more comic book(y) than the Netflix but there's still a lot of shots of him getting his buns kicked. I don't know. I think a movie would have served him better in this case but I guess they're trying to bury a soap opera in another super hero show. Hope it's better than Moon Knight at least. I'll wait and see. Glad to see Frank back. Hopefully the skull isn't on full time ban anymore. Glad to see Muse and Bullseye. Though something gives me the feeling they are going to do that Disney thing and fuse the two together. And Vincent as Wilson looks fit and huge. At least those elements are looking really good so far. I continue to have high hopes but as is the case with the MCU over the last few years I still brace for the worst.
