Marvel Universe Emma Frost By WeaponXIX

This Marvelous Customs were done by WeaponXIX who has created custom 3.75 Marvel Universe Emma Frost Figure.

Here is how WeaponXIX describes the making of this figure:

Since X-Men: First Class isn't getting toys, I've given up hope on seeing a Marvel Universe White Queen any time soon. So I decided it was time to make my own. So here she is, my Emma Frost: The White Queen!

I went with a non-diamond version and am debating doing another, but I really really hate painting white.

Recipe:
Head - Star Wars comic pack Deena Shan with ROC Covergirl hair
Torso - MU Mystique
Upper arms - MU Mary Jane
Lower arms, legs - MU Spider Woman
Cape - Star Wars Count Dooku

I tried to use as many white parts as I could to cut down on painting and make paint rub less noticeable. I also used the translucent cape from Count Dooku and painted only the outside to give some color depth.

Hasbro should really offer blank figures on their website. They did it with mighty muggs, why not MU? You could get one cast in white or flesh tone and not have to worry so much about painting. I can't paint either of those colors and have it come out right.

Thanks! Yeah, all the figures were basically the same, but painting white is a total pain and I wanted to use as many white parts as possible to cut down on the painting process.

It's pretty cool. It interesting that you kit-bashed those three MU women. Weren't all those figure bodies the same anyhow?
