I wasn't sure which of these, outside of the Dracula thing, is a new sculpt. Looks to me they may have a few new parts (like MK) but all overall mixed with older outdated figures. Nonetheless I agree 3 of these Voodoos aren't necessary; again, he's the only one who actually appeared in the Strange Tales comic and using his first outfit would have made the figure stand out. Also, the white snake scaled "vest" he wears in that first costume (white scales and black diamond patterns), could be said to be a homage to the voodoo spirit god Damballah, often represented as a white snake in that religion. Just saying, that could have been a nice look for him instead of something that's been done over and over.

I'm generally pretty happy to be getting an updated Doctor Voodoo. I like the character but had to throw the Dormammu wave figure in a box after a couple months, because I could never keep that damn thing standing for more than 48 hours, and I could never get the cape they literally threw on it to ever sit right. I'm glad the cape on this one plugs into the back. I'm not at all happy about them eliminating the open spell-casting hands, but maybe I can swap the one from the older figure or something.

Ill keep which one looks best once i get this latest one in hand then try to sell or trade the other two. Maybe lll keep the latest body and all three head sculpts then drop kick the extra bodies into the trash

but i definitely dont need 3 of this guy. If they had made one of the versions translucent or ghostly then I could head canon that into being his dead brother.. but there is no reason to army build this guy.

I get it, the wave's budget was likely taken up by the new sculpts but they already gave us the Moon Knight with minimal tooling. Id rather Voodoo's spot had been taken by a new character that could be done with a simple paint job. Something like they did with Spymaster or Eel.. I mean, not THOSE exact guys but take a nice buck, paint it to look like a character we havent gotten yet.

They really should have done a Brother Voodoo not another Doctor Voodoo. He only was Doctor for a short time. While I agree with everything said, he looks really good so I don't wanna complain too much. But I do wish he had a different accessory though. C mon with that staff.

My main gripe with this set is just all the missed opportunities. We get a vampire Storm, but no Werewolf? Another Wolverine, which I actually love the figure, but no new Frankenstein? What about Jennifer Cale? She's in a show right now, but no representation in figure form to capitalize on possible interest! And where the Hell is a comic Baron Mordo?

Yeah Honestly this figure feels like it had from what I can see Zero demand, In my travels through both real world and the internet, not once have I heard anyone say "you know I really wish we'd get a updated Brother Voodoo", So for this to become a reality seems really odd to me, Does it even look that much better then the previous figure, Hardly, and the thing is and most people said it already, they always just keep doing the same Voodoo, it really would have been beneficial if this figure was a totally different look for the character, people have been asking for other looks, not this one over and over.

Anyways, I needed the BAF piece, and strangely enough (no pun here) I needed a better Voodoo since mine was holding on to hopes and prayers because when I bought it, it exploded in pieces, so I'm fine with an update myself.

Instead of 3 figures that are essentially the same, why not use his first appearance look?? Far as I can tell , of all the characters they did in this wave, THIS guy is the one who ACTUALLY shows up in Strange Tales. You know, Strange Tales...the whole theme of this wave? Right?

Regardless, they should have trotted this one out by now. Their decisions and judgement....lol

This one makes me more annoyed than Destiny actually, we didn't need a Voodoo update when we have other characters with the same importance that have not been released but there you go and put a BAF piece on it ...
