And don't forget Uatu...the Marvel Select Watcher fits in a lot better with the MUs.

Uatu is a great fit I forgot about him, he is always drawn so odd he could fit in anywhere. The Mojo from toy biz's early line would be a great fit I think as would the new Fing Fang foom from hulk classics.

I would like to see picks of the wave 3 line as well. You guys don't know how long I have been waiting for all of this. I am 33 and grew up playing with G.I. Joe but played with them like they were marvel heroes. Now I can get my son involved in this, it's just awesome. Now if only the characters from my comic book The Stormchasers ( at Unstoppable Comics ) could take off and get an action figure treatment I could die a happy man.

One other thing is it me or does Galactus and the Sentinel from the marvel legends line fit in perfectly with these guys. Giant man is a little too big I think.

Yeah, I'm pretty jazzed, too. The Sentinel will look great with these figures. I don't think Giant-Man would be too large; he's certainly grown to 4 or 4.5 times a regular person's size in the comics.

Galactus will still be way too small, unless you're basing it on his early '60s Fantastic Four appearances. That was about the last time he was anywhere approaching human scale.

As for the other BAFs compared to MU figures:

Onslaught - huge improvement in scale

Annihilus, Ares, Holocaust and Blob - would look silly displayed with the MUs. I think Mojo may, as well. Apocalypse has always looked silly next to regular MLs, so it won't make a difference. No idea why they ever made him a BAF.

Brood Queen, Modok - should still look okay.

And don't forget Uatu...the Marvel Select Watcher fits in a lot better with the MUs.

wow, series 2 looks way better than series 1. if series 1 is somehow improved to be on par with series 2... i may have a tough decision coming up next year. i really hope i don't give in.

Yeah, Wave 2 and 3 both look way better than Series 1.

Glad that the learning curve was quick for the line. Now that's not to say that Wave 1 is bad. Most of the figures in it are great. Just the figures in Wave 2 and 3 are even better.

Wonder why they didn't show carded pics of the other Wave 3 figures.

We're missing Ms. Marvel and Hand Ninja.

I'm a little late to this, but where are the pictures of the Wave 3 figures? Or even the news announcement or list of figures? I'm looking at the Wiki and it confuses me, because it lists Black Costume Spider-Man, Classic Iron Man, Punisher with new head sculpt, and The Thing as part of Wave 3 (along with with winged-helmet Iron Man, Hand Ninja, Ms. Marvel, classic Ms. Marvel, and Nick Fury -- then it lists Moon Knight, red Hulk, and Union Jack under Wave 4).

So someone clear that up for me? Haha.

Ooh...I want just about all of these. How could anyone NOT want that Green Goblin? And they made all Iron Man all shiny!

If I have any complaint at all about these, it's that they're already releasing second versions of Iron Man, Spider-Man and Captain America when there's a bajillion other characters who should be made first.

This line is going to be very cool. Can't wait for battle packs, vehicles and all the other cool stuff that isn't feasible at 6".

hell yeah! thank you hasbro for this. don't listen to all these people telling you that you guys "f"-ed on the 6" legends line. you'll domintae on the 3 3/4's line, like you always do with the joes etc.

They look really good! i like how this black spider-man has a fist this time, and this thing looks much better than the two pack one.

but i think punisher was the biggest surprise for being released again.
