Toy Biz's new Lord of the Rings Trilogy action figures are now hitting stores in full force. This is a series that repackages previous released figures with minor improvements or figures that was included in the Deluxe Horse Sets. The first LOTR Trilogy Return of the King series includes Aragorn, King of Gondor, Pippin in Armor,The Haradrim Archer, and Legolas in Rohan Armor. Here I will review King Aragorn and Pippin in Armor and I hope you enjoy it!

Accessories: The King of Gondor has his sword, Anduril and royal cloak. Pippin has his sword, helmet, and cape. All of the accessories look realistic!

Articulation: Both figures move at the neck, ball jointed shoulders, biceps, elbows, wrists, waist, ball jointed hips, upper legs, knees, and ankles.

Durability: Aragorn's shoulder's are a bit restricted due to the sculpt but both figures are put together quite well!

Packaging: The trilogy figures uses a new smaller package on small cards instead of the large ones and awesome looking flap packages. With smaller cards, this will make less room for detail which I am a bit disappointed at this because with the larger package real pictures of the characters from the films were on the front but with this new kind only mini stickers of the figure prototype in on the front. The story of the characters is still on the back however but it doesn't show what other figures are available to collect. The packaging will most likely appeal to collectors especially the ones who collect mint on card. Don't think I dislike it because I do think the new packaging is nice but I just prefer the original type.

Paint: The action figure's paint is very realistic looking and the paint is applied nicely! I am paretically impressed with the paint used on all of Aragorn's armor and sword! Nice job Toy Biz!

Sculpting: I really like the sculpting on Aragorn! I think it is arguably the best likeness to date of him! His fase sculpt is unreal! His armor is really incredible! The sword looks so authentic! It even has the scroll work on both sides! Pippin is very good as well. His helmet and sword are quite neat looking! His chainmail and belt looks outstanding! A very decent looking figure of this character! Toy Biz sculpted these excellently! No doubt about it!

Overall: LOTR fans and collectors shouldn't be without these figures especially King Aragorn in My opinion! How could you pass up figures that has good paint jobs, tons of articulation, great sculpts, and one of them being the King? King Aragorn and Pippin in Armor will look sweet with the other figures in your collection!
