WizKids Announces Coming Of Galactus World Heroclix Event Schedule Change

The Marvel HeroClix Coming of Galactus World HeroClix Event is scheduled to begin one week later than originally announced. The five-week Sealed Tournament will now begin on July 12, 2007, in order to involve even more locations worldwide.

“We want to include as many retail locations as possible so that Marvel HeroClix fans everywhere can participate in this huge summer event,” said Joe Hauck, EVP of Sales, Marketing and Product Development. “In order to include even more event venues, we have moved the schedule back by one week.”

Each weekly tournament is held as a Sealed event using game pieces from the Marvel HeroClix: Avengers set that releases at the end of June. (The release of Marvel HeroClix: Avengers will not be delayed because of this change. The release of DC HeroClix: Justice League in August will also not be affected.)

In the final event during week five, HeroClix players will still compete to win the Galactus 2007 Colossal figure. The schedule for the Coming of Galactus World HeroClix event is found on www.wizkidsgames.com.
