Hollywood star WESLEY SNIPES will serve three years in jail for tax evasion. In February (08) the Blade actor was convicted of failing to file his taxes for five years.

The star was acquitted of tax fraud and filing a false claim, as well as three misdemeanour counts of wilful failure to file a tax return. But on Thursday (24Apr08) in Florida, U.S. District Judge William Terrell Hodges sentenced Snipes to three years imprisonment.

Earlier this week (23Apr08), Snipes' famous friends, like actors Woody Harrelson and Denzel Washington, sent letters to the judge as character references.

The actor's attorneys argued that Snipes' crimes did not warrant a prison sentence, and that the star should be given probation.

Details of when Snipes will have to surrender to prison, and where he will serve his sentence have not been released.

Assuming ML continues, anyway (or they could be released in a Spiderman line or something).

Anyway, we've got Venom, we've got Carnage, and we've got Toxin. Does anyone else want Venom's other symbiote offspring? Yes, I know, symbiotes were quite overused in the 90s, and these are pretty minor characters, but still...I want them. Scream, Lasher, Phage, Riot, Agony (yes, I know those are fan names, but they don't have real names, so...), Hybrid and She-Venom II. I'd love to see these some day so I can complete Venom's "family." I'm not sure how much work they'd be...I think parts from the other symbiotes could be reused.

Anyone besides me want to see these guys?

Nope... have no use for them. All symbiotes must die!!!

we need a skinny toxin with no mouth, mcfarlaine spidey mold with star (LCBH) head

we need an end-all-be-all for venom and carnage first (and maybe that second venom, the little kid. what was his name?)

I would like to see those kind of caracters made into figures. They would probably look cool. In fact I had an old Lasher figure that had great sculpt and paint apps and medium articulation and I really liked him (too bad I can't find it anymore :(... ).

There are plenty of other Spider-Man characters I would want to see before more symbiotes. But if they DID eventually make them, I would probably get them. I got Toxin and he's definitely a D-Lister...

that gives real D-listers a bad name, he belongs further down with D-Man. In the sewer, being a bum.

Have to admit I wouldn't want them either. I could sort of accept Carnage but the other symbiotes were kind of lame imo. They were a case of Marvel trying to milk Venom's popularity for everthing it was worth.

personally I wouldn't want them. Was never a huge fan of the symbiotes anyways. There are ust more figures I think that would be cooler before them. But that's just my view.

I certainly wouldn't mind, though, I'd actually like a better Carnage first. We need the guys who worked on Green and Hob Goblins; they looked like they were ripped right from the comic, and I kinda wanted that look for Carnage!

Anyway, many of those crazy symbiote designs were pretty dang cool, so i'd want them just to make some cool figures. I don't think i've ever even seen them in the comics!
