X-Men Origins: Wolverine Figure?

by Jay Cochran

An image of what appears to possibly be a prototype for one of Hasbro's upcoming figures for their X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie line has hit the internet. This figure HAS NOT been confirmed as being legit, but if you want to check it out and share your thoughts about it click here. Thanks to Jeff for the heads up.

We should wait until the announcement.

I instantly figured it was a 3 3/4'' figure and not a 6 incher. If it's a 6 incher, that's one sad figure...

Well if it's not 3 3/4 scale thats one $hitty figure. That much articulation on 3 3/4 is great but on 6 inch it's horrible.

Doesn't seem so bad to me. Head, Shoulders (ball joint), Elbows (swivel), wrists, chest, hips (ball joint), knees (double) and feet (swivel). That seems pretty good to me for a 6 inch.

This is clearly 3 3/4 scale. Yes they do have double jointed knees. This figure has the same ArticulAtion as the new GI Joes except for the ball hips.

Or not-so-clearly, as NO 3 3/4" scale figures from Hasbro have those ball-jointed hips, whereas the 3 3/4" and 6" figures share the remainder of the articulation to varying degrees.

This further confirms my suspicion that we will get no costumed characters. This movie looks like it takes place in a military setting and all the characters will be wearing military gear, civilian clothes, or possibly black spy gear.

sorry to post again, but yeah i think the scuplt is pretty dope. dont know about that dumb helmet though. maybe this is a 3 3/4 scale? i dunno. good news is that we'll probabaly get a deadpool figure fo rthis series. woo hoo!!

Check the knees. 3 3/4" figs don't have double jointed knees. This appears to be legends scale (which is cool with me).

At the very least we should get some guns out of it.
