Marvelous News is proud to bring you, Marvelous Collections! Today's Marvelous Collector is by:

Name: Studmuffin

Location (City / State): Northern California San Francisco, Bay Area

When did you start collecting? Marvel Legends Series 1. Prior to that, I collected many of the 5' Marvel figures, as well.

What is your favorite or most-wanted Marvel Collectible? Incredible Hulk #1

I love Marvel toys because? They're physical respresentations of all my favorite comicbook characters. And they're superposable, too.

Thanks to everybody who swung by and checked out my little set-up. I'm really glad you folks dig it and appreciate all the comments.

And BigBearJahlon, that Liberty statue is actually apart of the Lady Liberty X-Men movie playset. That was based on the Liberty battle at the end of the first X-Men flick.

hey Toysniper, you gave me an idea. Some of those McFarlane pieces are hot but kind of small in compared to height of ML's but look good as villains. A few head pops and you got an army worthy of Loki or Zemo or Mole Man.

Yeah man,love that Kratos.

oops, forgot this thread is dedicated to Studmuffin ... hey Stud, more figure shots!!!

Also Studs, is that Statue of Liberty head from Cloverfield???

Toysniper - 2009-01-28 @ 12:31 am

Hey BBJ, that's a World of Warcraft figure I popped the head off of and put kratos' head on it. Ya know those W.O.W. figures look good but are stiff as bricks.

BigBearJahlon - 2009-01-28 @ 12:12 am

Studmuffin has a fine collection. From Comics to toys to posters and magazines, very nice!!

You even made the Mighty Muggs look good!

I like the Fin Fang Foom vs the baby Marvels and that custom Broly-Hulk (i think) is hot.

I liked your strength comparison between Marvel & DC (Hulk & Supes, and DC always has to prove themselves beyond Marvel ... Egotisitical >... LOL)

also the energy effect for the Stark Enterprise display is tight. What did u use?

Is that a custom Dragon Man? Nice!!!!

And can I get one of those Doom-Bots????

Fantastic Modern Cage!!! Good head swap on She-Hulk.

All around, great Stuff Stud. You make me regret not finishing Red Hulk now.

also ToySniper: nice Kratos. YOu nade that armor yourself? How poseable is Kratos anyway?

Toysniper - 2009-01-26 @ 8:41 pm

Wow, I love your set up and the displays you have your figures in. You have more Sentinels than me. I've only got 14.5 and your customs are awesome. I really love your modern Luke Cage.

HighEvolutionary - 2009-01-26 @ 1:37 am

amazing collection. not only is that custom rhino very cool, but so is that custom onslaught. And a whopping *16* sentinels, too.

Awesome collection, awesome customs, do you have a lot of repeated figures? I wouldn't mind having some of them xD.

ironspiderman - 2009-01-25 @ 11:19 pm

Pretty cool.

terminator - 2009-01-25 @ 10:31 pm
