According to a site called BadTaste.it, actor John Malkovich has confirmed recent Spider-Man 4 villain rumors that he will be playing the The Vulture in the upcoming movie from Columbia Pictures. Thanks to a translation from Comingsoon.net, you can see Malkovich's quote in English here.

"When conductor Simona Ventura asked him about his role of Vulture in the movie, he not only didn't deny his involvement, but confirmed that he's waiting for the final script to be sent to him, and that the movie has been delayed. He also hopes that shooting will begin as soon as possible."

Though it seems like Malkovich would be a perfect fit for this movie, and a great addition to the cast, in recent weeks there have been a flurry of rumors attached to Spider-Man IV involving the villains and release dates. For this reason it is hard to say for sure if the Malkovich deal is truly in the bag, but word going around is we may soon be seeing further proof of this in the form of a video clip of some type. Stay tuned for more details on this as we learn more.
