Bryan Singer Is Producing, Not Directing X-Men: First Class

We recently reported to you that Bryan Singer may not direct the new X-Men movie because of him being locked into another movie called "Jack The Giant KIller".

Well, Deadline has confirmed this information and reports that Singer will join Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg as producers. Fox is already in talks with a few directors who may be able to start production on the proposed first movie as early as summer or fall for a 2011 release.
