Whedon In Final Negotiations Direct The Mighty Avengers

Whedon In Final Negotiations Direct The Mighty Avengers

Jay Cochran - April 13, 2010
It is being reported today that Joss Whedon, (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) is in final negotiations to direct Marvel Entertainment's upcoming Avengers movie.

It was first reported last week that Whedon was in talks with Marvel for the job.

The Avengers will be a team-focused story that will consist of members such as Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans) & Thor (Chris Hemsworth), all of which will have had their own movies in theaters by the time Avengers comes out in May 2012. Each one of those character specific movies will have story-threads leading into Avengers which will make directing this big-budget film a daunting task for Whedon who is no stranger to the world of comic books.

Let us know below if you think Whedon is the right man for this job?
