THR is reporting that Sally Field is in early talks to play Aunt May in the new Spider-Man movie.
In the comics, Peter Parker only family was Aunt May after his Uncle Ben was killed. We
reported earlier that Martin Sheen is in talks for the role of Uncle Ben. In addition to Sheen, the new movie being directed by Marc Webb, begins shooting in December, has Andrew Garfield as Peter, Emma Stone as love interest Gwen Stacy and Rhys Ifans as the movie’s unnamed villain.
