David Slade To Direct New Daredevil Movie

by Jay Cochran
March 15, 2011
Variety is reporting that 20th Century Fox is tapping David Slade (30 Days Of Night) to direct a second movie based on Marvel's Daredevil costumed hero. Slade at one point was being considered for directing the next Wolverine movie before the job was eventually given to Darren Aronofsky.

What might be even more interesting is according to Variety, this new Daredevil movie will be done as a continuation of the 2003 movie which starred Ben Affleck, as opposed to a reboot which is what was originally rumored to be the plan. It should be noted they say even though it will be a continuation, they will be moving in a different direction, whatever that means?
