FOX Hires 'Fringe' Writer For 'Daredevil' Relaunch

THR is reporting that FOX has been happy with how the relaunch of the X-Men franchise has been going with "X-Men: First Class" that they have turned their attention now to the reboot of "Daredevil."

"Daredevil" has hit the big screen before as one of Marvel's first superhero movies in 2003 with Ben Affleck playing the main character.

David Slade will be developing and is attached to direct and Brad Caleb Kane, a writer-producer on cult Fox TV show "Fringe" has been hired to write the relaunch and is being asked to 'adapt one of the most influential and acclaimed comic stories of all time, Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli’s "Born Again" run'.
