The Avengers Character Details Revealed

EW has once again revealed some more details for the upcoming Avengers movie by giving some character background descriptions for the team members.

The interesting bits to take away from the article is that Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) will be dealing with the fact he is a man out of time, that everyone he once knew is now dead and he is essentially along.

Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) and Bruce Banner/Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) will for an interesting on-screen dynamic. Stark apparently likes to try and set Banner off and see him pop and Banner actually seems to enjoy it. "They’re both these kind of scientists who are mavericks, kind of renegades". As cool as this sounds, it really makes me wish it was still Ed Norton playing the role of Bruce Banner, but hopefully Ruffalo will be good.

Thor (Chris Hemsworth) will have to deal with the fact that it's his brother who is the main bad guy everyone is after. Loki has been a pain in Thor's side but he is still considered family and Thor must deal with the fact that in the view of everyone else, he is just a villain in need of taking down.

Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) apparently relishes the fact he and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) are the only two non-super powered members on the team and yet he apparently is the only one who can take down the Hulk with his tranq tipped arrows. Yeah apparently as powerful as the Hulk is he can still be taken out with a couple tranquilizer darts.

As for Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), she apparently is just a badass with a pair of guns.
