Images Of 'Iron Patriot' From The 'Iron Man 3' Set

Production on Iron Man 3 has begun in North Carolina and we already have our first images of the character, Iron Patriot. Strange thing is the actor inside the suit is James Badge Dale. Now we reported earlier this month that Dale was to play Eric Savin, the Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army put in charge of Project: Ultra. After stepping on a land mine, cybernetic surgery is performed on him and he's resurrected as the cyborg Coldblood. Will we see some strange twist of Coldblood becoming Iron Patriot? Iron Man 3 stars Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Ben Kingsley, Guy Pearce, James Badge Dale, Ashley Hamilton and Jon Favreau. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on May 3, 2013.
