We have just received word from overseas etailer
Robotkingdom that the
6" Stan Lee Build-A-Figure that had originally been slated to ship in the upcoming Marvel Legends 2-Packs featuring
Agent Ross/Killmonger and
Winter Soldier/Falcon has been canceled. The parts for that figure will no longer be included in those 2-Packs which here in the United States will be released as Target store exclusives.
It should be noted that Hasbro themselves never actually confirmed or officially announced the Stan Lee Build-A-Figure to begin with, and we only knew about it based on images of early product samples for the Black Panther 2-Pack getting out on the internet.
We don't know why the Stan Lee figure was canceled but we might speculate it could have something to do with the recent reports of Stan Lee having problems with his former business people which includes filing claims against his former Business Manager for elder abuse.
You can check out updated images of the upcoming Black Panther 2-Pack below which no longer has any reference to the Stan Lee figure. Whether or not the Stan Lee figure will ever see release remains unknown, but perhaps we will be able to get more details about this next month during the SDCC.
